It pleased the good Lord to put His word in my heart and on my lips at a very young age. Born in India in 1938, I was raised by devout Christian parents who had taken bold steps in the life of faith, and had suffered for it.

My spiritual and cultural heritage blends the East (India) and the West (USA). I came to the United States in 1968 to study. Both in India and the US, it pleased God to make me a witness for His Son Jesus Christ and serve in His Church. Though trained as an engineer, my chief joy in life has been learning God’s Word, obeying it, and sharing it with others. God gave this to me as an inheritance. I share that inheritance here with my readers.

There is much emphasis on family life in these writings. I owe much of what I have learned about family life to my (late) life-partner Achiamma “Lilly” Arthungal who blessed me with nearly 41 years of wedded life, fulfilling Proverbs 31:10-31. I bless her memory, and I thank the Lord for her. I have been blessed and helped much also by my three children who grew up in the church and serve the Lord to this day.

I give thanks for the faith of my father and mother who gave me God’s Word from my childhood; for the many brethren in Christ who have loved me and helped me with fatherly care; and for the many fathers and mothers I know who exemplify the message contained in these writings.

The writings have been enriched by the extensive reviews done by several of my co-workers and friends. Special thanks are due to Bro. Jeff Burks, Sis. Jeanne Burks and my daughter Rebecca Thomas. Without their help and contributions, the contents of this webpage could not be prepared and presented. May the Lord bless and reward them.

Rev. 22:17: “And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
